We had a great time at the Ethiopian cooking class at Chef Mike's place! It was professional but friendly and homey. We learned a lot, as Chef Mike anwered all of our questions and provided great cooking tips from his many years of experience and knowledge. The food was excellent and we feel confident we can recreate these dishes in our own home. The company of other classmates was delightful and overall it was a great night. We look forward to trying another class for another special occasion.

Tonight was our first ever cooking class, and I have to say i’m happy that was able to experience it with Chef Mat! From the moment you walk into his place, he makes you feel comfortable and entertained. His personality and presence makes the term “never a dull moment” an understatement. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our cooking class with Chef Mike. We learned a lot from Mike he is very knowledgeable about all aspects of food, from preparation to how it benefits your gut health. He has a great sense of humour and his ability to juggle questions, multiple recipes and dishes at the same time was impressive. Chef Mat was just the kind of person you hope to get when you sign up for a class like this - talented, knowledgeable, personable, professional. He reads the room and elevates the vibe with humour, sharing his own stories, a great playlist etc. He facilitated the group so that everyone could try doing a bit of everything, and gave some great, practical tips for us to use at home. The food itself was excellent, and the menu was very thoughtful - it felt elegant and special, but was actually very simple and easy to replicate again on our own, which was appreciated. HIghly recommended this class, it was a super fun way to spend a Friday night!

I enjoyed the class. Though it would be helpful if the description would be more accurate. The class isn’t exactly “hands on”. The chef will describe Step by step instructions on how to make the food and will allow you to participate. I was looking for a more hands on experience where a chef will teach and you will have your own station recreating the recipe. However overall the class was great.

What a fantastic and special experience! The food was out if this world, and chef Jeffery has a great attitude and overall vibe & has wealth of knowlegde to share. The portions were way more than adequate (my partner and I were absolutely stuffed by the end) and we really felt like we got our $ worth out of the experinence. Jeffrey also put so much time and effort into making sure everything was perfect, was courteous and provided top notch service. My partner and I had so much fun and learned so much, 12/10 would recccomend for anyone looking for a fun, intimate and unique experience for a special occasion.

Had a wonderful experience. This class was very helpful in taking a cuisine that has always seemed challenging to me and making it more accessible, including things like where to get various ingredients and what to substitute if you can't find them. Chef Vinutha is friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate, and explains not just the "how" but also the "why" of the cooking process. And it turns out she had worked at one of my favourite Thai restaurants, and the curry we made together turned out very delicious, just like theirs :)

Nothing short of just a fantastic experience through and through! I surprised my girlfriend for our anniversary by treating her to Chef Vinutha’s class and she was thrilled when she discovered it was a Thai Cuisine-based class. Personal, informative and very friendly, Chef guided us from the very beginning till the very end with also sharing the recipe PDF with us. In addition to her wisdom, she gave us some unique tips and tricks when it comes to better executing the meals! Highly recommend and definitely coming back for her other classes!

We had an incredible time learning how to make three types of vegan pasta from scratch with Charlene. She brought all the ingredients and came prepared with necessary tools. All we needed to have on hand were knives, cutting boards, and pots. Not only was it three hours of fun, but the final products were absolutely delicious. It was so hard to pick a favourite. Would absolutely recommend this class; we are already thinking about having her back to learn some other dishes. I wish I could have rated this experience 10 out of 5!

We can't say enough good things about Chef A.J. We absolutely loved the food and the experience. AJ was so warm, welcoming, funny, and so obviously passionate about cooking. We were most impressed with how he could work with the worst possible equipment in the Airbnb we rented. One of our favourite comments was: You know it's a good steak when you can cut it with a Dollar Store knife. We sincerely enjoyed our cooking class with AJ, loved his friendly manner, love of soul music, and great stories. Oh, and he brought aprons and chef hats for us to wear and keep! Highly recommended!!
