What You’ll Do

This on-site culinary challenge turns your crew into charcuterie chefs vying for Best in Board.

Chef Juan leads your group in an in-office team building experience where the most creative charcuterie takes top prize. Get them in on the friendly competition as they prepare snack boards with visual flair and flavor beyond compare.

The event begins with the basics in combining meats, cheeses and other elements for amazing charcuterie collections. Learn knife techniques for turning simple slices of meat into stunning roses and discover ideal wine pairings for your selections. Then, the challenge is on as breakout teams work to prepare their beautiful charcuterie boards.

Guests are welcome to provide wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Your Menu

All necessary utensils will be provided by the chef. The venue is required to have access to sinks nearby, tables set-up to prep and garbage containers. Chefs are able to arrive a minimum of 30 minutes in advance.

Our cooking class was great! Chef Juan was engaging and helped to make our evening really fun while we learned to prepare really unique hors doeuvres. Everything tasted great, too. I would recommend Chef Juan highly, but I wouldn't recommend Cozymeal. They were a hassle, changed what they said was available, and wouldn't honor the original pricing. I'll book through another outfit next time.

This was just a great experience. Chef Juan was very personable and educated us on the different aspects of cooking this delicious meal. I would totally suggest this to anyone who is interested in trying to learn to cook a special meal such as this.

Thoroughly enjoyed our foray into German cuisine. I was a tad hesitant but Chef Juan helped to clear up misconceptions about their food.We all worked hard to create a very delicious, savory meal. The beers that Chef introduced us to were very good and told us where we could purchase them. Chef Juan's personality helped to set the tone for a relaxed atmosphere! Worth every penny; well done, Chef!

We had Chef Juan and his staff at our home for Valentines Day. They were prompt, professional and the food was heaven on a plate. They were most pleasant company and entertaining. The food courses were all lovely works of art and the texture mixes were brilliant. I highly recommend.

Juan catered the recent ribbon cutting for Microsoft Software & Systems Academy (MSSA) at Joint Base San Antonio. The food was both exquisite in taste and presentation. I can wholeheartedly recommend Chef Juan. He was communicative, within budget, and on time and his staff were amazing as well.

For a corporate event held in San Antonio for a group consisting out of 25 international high profile guests Chef Juan facilitated the lunch for this group. All food was extremely tasteful and well taken care off. Within the group there were a few dietary requirements such as vegan but this was all taken care off and no issue in being arranged by Juan himself. The catering request was very last moment but this was no problem for Juan! The communication was great even with the 7 hour time difference between San Antonio and Europe. If I need a caterer for a future event in San Antonio I now know where I need to go!

We hosted a luncheon for international guests and worked with Juan on preparing an appropriate menu, he was attentive, careful to plan it according to all of our needs and details. We were delighted not only by the aesthetic presentation of the luncheon we hosted with Juan Cardona. The food was not only beautifully presented, but also delicious. From the cucumber water to the stuffed portabella vegan dish to the gourmet macadamia nut cookies we ordered, the food was complimented by every guest. The ceviche was divine, high quality fish and the beet salad was prepared to perfection.
