Immerse your team in a collective culinary experience built around traditional tapas.
Prepare to work together to create some of the most flavorful, shareable tapas this side of the Atlantic. In this interactive team building cooking class, Chef Laura will show your group how to put your heads together to craft a menu of small plates using simple ingredients and fresh herbs and spices.
You'll find something for everyone on this menu, from shrimp cooked in butter and garlic to red wine-braised chorizo to a perfectly arranged Manchego cheese and smoked ham dessert plate. You'll work together to prepare and indulge in each of these rustic recipes.
Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.
Tomato and Cucumber Gazpacho
With garlic, onions, green peppers and bread crumbs
Gambos al Ajillo
With shrimp, garlic, smoked paprika and butter
Chorizos al Vino
With Spanish chorizo and red wine

Meet your chef
Chef Laura is an entrepreneur, personal chef, culinary instructor and recipe developer who brings more than 15 years of professional culinary experience to the table. After graduating from culinary school in Denver, Chef Laura began teaching cooking classes at one of America's leading gourmet foods stores. Today, she owns her own business where she offers dinner parties and small event catering as well as cooking classes.

Chef Laura was exceptional! She made my 40th birthday dinner something truly special. She was very accommodating to our group (which can be difficult when you have toddlers and young children). I would recommend Chef Laura to anyone considering a private dinner event.

Chef Laura was phenomenal! I would recommend her to anyone that is wanting to do a class with her. She has a great personality to talk with during the entire time. She has expertise in cooking and gives you culinary tricks to use. I would definitely be requesting Chef Laura again.

Laura was AMAZING! From the minute she walked in, she settled all of our nerves and made the environment so relaxed and welcoming. During the process she not only cleaned up our space to make it perfect, but she brought EVERYTHING we needed. We started the process with a clean kitchen and at the end of the night she helped clean the kitchen again. The food itself was perfect. The cooking process was so much fun, and Laura was great at instructing us how to cook and prepare everything. She also provided awesome history and other cooking facts behind the food we were making. It was engaging from beginning to end and I would HIGHLY recommend using Laura for your next cooking/food event!

Chef Laura was amazing! I did this for my boyfriend for his birthday and it was an absolute hit! She’s so engaging and entertaining while she cooks. It was very interactive - such a fun way to learn! The food was amazing, definitely can’t wait to try them again! She brings everything with her, so you don’t have to worry about a thing! I will definitely use her again!

Amazing experience. Chef Laura was so great and she took time to give us techniques to use so not only was it a hands on but a great learning event. I appreciated learning new recipes and also the correct way to slice with a knife.

We really enjoyed our class with Chef Laura. It was a great way to spend an evening. She was professional but fun and very knowledgeable. The class was virtual so she set up her kitchen with multiple cameras so we could see what she was doing.

Many of the meals Chef Laura has taught us to cook have become staples in our house. She is incredibly knowledgeable and so much fun to cook with! I’m pretty skilled in the kitchen, but she always teaches me something new, and her recipes always have ingredients that are easy to find in any grocery store.

12/20/20 - Chef Laura did a virtual class for a small group of us that meet regularly. I'm an accomplished cook, but Laura managed to surprise me with some really good cooking tips to "up my game".
