Step 1
Measure and prep all ingredients.

Step 2
In a saucepan over medium-low heat, add the diced apple, cranberries, brown sugar, cinnamon and salt.

Step 3
Cook, stirring occasionally, until the cranberries pop and become jammy and the apples soften, about 10 minutes.

Step 4
Let cool to room temperature and then refrigerate until ready to serve. Enjoy!

Notes:
- You can use any variety of apples that you like to eat, Honeycrisp, pink lady, and Fuji are all good choices.
