During this live and interactive online cooking class with Chef Maria, you will learn how to prepare two light and airy, yet decadent dessert soufflés that bring the "wow" factor in taste and presentation and make a spectacular finale to any dinner. You will also learn how to prepare a vanilla crème anglaise and an orange crème anglaise from scratch to pair with your finished banana soufflé and Grand Mariner soufflé.

After falling in love with cooking at age 15, Chef Maria decided to take the leap and attend the Culinary Institute of America. After graduating, Chef Maria spent time traveling around the world as a personal chef before returning to the U.S. to take a job as executive chef for a luxury resort on the Las Vegas Strip. Chef Maria now manages a contemporary gastropub in Las Vegas where everything is made from scratch.

Chef Maria was incredibly patient and full of great tips!! I did find it difficult to follow this class without a printed recipe that matched in detail. Happy to report it yielded delicious soufflés anyway!!!

Chef Maria created a wonderful cooking and learning culinary experience for us! Her confidence and warmth immediately puts you at ease and her love for her craft and food shows in everything she does! She shared several great cooking tips (she's skilled in multiple genres and techniques from baking to knife skills) and answered all our questions along the way. And of course, the food was absolutely delicious!

While we were late due to technical issues, once we joined Chef Maria made the extra effort to catch us up. Her style was very supportive, patient, and enthusiastic while she walked us through a complicated recipe. We came away with a delicious lemon tart and some great information that we will use in future bakes. I highly recommend Chef Maria’s classes! About the technical issues: for some reason neither Zoom passcode provided would allow us into the meeting. I had to text Chef Maria directly. She replied immediately with another Zoom link that allowed us in.

Food was good, but it was difficult to follow. Particularly since the ingredient list did not match the actual ingredients we were using and the written instructions were missing details and different as well. As a result it seemed many people were doing things incorrectly and getting left behind. Because of the multiple activities happening at once, it would be more helpful for the chef to clarify when we are just getting prepping an ingredient vs when we are actually using it.

We had an amazing birthday dinner with chef Maria and her husband. Maria was very knowledgeable and made sure to share some little tricks that make our lives a lot easier in the kitchen! Her entire menu was delicious and stunning! We had so much fun during the process and we can’t wait to try cooking those dishes on our own! Highly recommend this cooking experience with Chef Maria!

From Chef Maria's mouth-watering chicken francese to her bombazine di ricotta in brodo (ricotta dumplings) , delectable melanzane ripiene ( stuffed egg plant), and flan cubano, all were absolutely amazing! The visual details were beyond measure, the flavors, and use of various spices were simply divine. Her eye for detail, sensitive palate, coupled with her knowledge of food from various corners of the globe, make for a winning combination. A chef who trained at CIA New York City, and worked with some of the best chefs in some of the finest restaurants in the world, Chef Maria brings creativity, and a wealth of knowledge to all who experience her food, and instruction. Her intoxicating personality, expertise in her craft make a winning combination for those who have the pleasure of dining on her creations, or simply learning cooking techniques from her. Chef Maria is a culinary master, consultant, educator of the culinary experience, whose expertise spans the globe.

Great Chef and her classes are very easy to understand. My husband and I attended the sushi class is was fantastic and easy to learn, I would love to take another class with her, she is knowledgeable and has lot of passion for cooking!
