Chef Fernanda, AKA La Health Mexicana, is FANTASTIC. She's not only a great chef and a great teacher, but she also has the ability to make a group of strangers feel like a group of friends.
I booked her in January of 2020 for a birthday. Two of the total six of us had never met before, but the environment Chef Fernanda created was so fun and welcoming that we had so much fun spending the evening all together. I learned a lot with Chef Fernanda about vegan baking and thoroughly enjoyed eating at the end of the night what we all made together. I highly recommend her to carnivores (which I am) and vegans alike. You will enjoy your experience with Chef Fernanda! She's great.

My husband and I recently had the pleasure of experiencing a wonderful cooking class with chef Fernanda. It was seriously a joy to work side by side with her in her kitchen and a it was a perfect night! We had no clue what to expect and were more then blown away by how great the night was. It was refreshing to meet such an energetic , positive, dedicated person like Fernanda who is obviously very dedicated to her dietary lifestyle and takes the quality of her wellbeing and food products very seriously. The food was delicious and the company and ambience was even better! Nothing short of an amazing night and we are already planning another class with her! I highly recommend taking one of her classes! You wonāt be disappointed!

We booked this event as a team building exercise for a group of senior leaders. It worked perfectly and Chef Fernanda was fabulous. The food we cooked was amazing and there was a great atmosphere. The spicy sauce was super tasty too! Would highly recommend any of Chef Fernanda's cookery classes!

I booked this class as a celebration for my friendās birthday at the last minute. Fernanda was very accommodating to our last minute scheduling and responded immediately. She has a true passion for healthy eating and being vegan. We are not vegan but weāre intrigued by learning something new and being healthy. She is very personable and answered all our questions about understanding these new ingredients we are not used to cooking with. I am excited to incorporate some of those healthy options in some of my baking at home. Her place was perfect for our group and got to meet her adorable dog. I would recommend to you even if you arenāt vegan she may surprise you with her recipes. We even left with extra treats to take home to our family that she packed up. Our favorite were the double chocolate fudge cookies and peanut butter cookies. You have to try them!
