What Are the Krispy Kreme Holiday Donuts?

This includes two donuts returning to the menu after appearing in 2023 as well as a ‘Merry Grinchmas’ collection of three festive treats inspired by “How the Grinch Stole Christmas!” by Doctor Seuss.

Grinch Donut

The star of the Krispy Kreme Christmas donuts lineup this festive season is the Grinch donut. This far-from-mean treat starts with an unglazed donut base loaded with a ‘coal’ filling made from a Cookies and Kreme mix. It’s then glazed in Grinchy green icing with a chocolate smirk and finished with the Grinch’s trademark quiff made from green buttercream.

The second Grinch-inspired offering at Krispy Kreme this holiday season is the Grinchy Claus. It’s made from an original glazed ring donut dipped in chocolate icing and topped with piped white buttercream. It’s decorated with red and green candy sprinkles and a miniature, edible Grinch figure made from fondant icing. 

Cindy-Lou Who Merry Berry Tree Donut

Those who enjoy fruity flavors will love the Cindy-Lou Who-inspired addition to the Krispy Kreme Christmas donuts festive collection. It’s made from an unglazed donut base with a strawberry-flavored icing top. It’s then decorated with a green buttercream Christmas tree, plus festive colored sprinkles and a gold icing star.

Santa Belly Donut 

Regulars might recognize the Santa Belly from 2023’s festive menu when it became a top pick among Krispy Kreme Christmas donuts. This jolly treat features an unglazed donut base with custard filling and red icing. It’s finished with a Santa belt made from black chocolate icing and a bright golden fondant icing buckle.

Holiday Sprinkle Speciality Donut 

The Holiday Sprinkle is another favorite returning to the Krispy Kreme Christmas donuts menu in 2024. It’s made from a classic original glazed donut dipped in chocolate icing and topped with festive red, white and green sprinkles.

Merry Grinchmas Speciality Dozen
