Our experience was great on so many level. Our leaders, Valentine and Chris, could not have been more helpful or fun. They explained everything we needed to know in terms even non cooks could understand. From the initial trip to Rusafa Market to eating the finished products, everyone felt comfortable. The group (16 people) all got along beautifully even with some language differences. ( This may have been aided by the delicious tapas, Sangria and wine!) I would highly recommend this travel adventure to anyone interested in food, Spanish culture or both!
Could not recommend this experience highly enough! Kris and Ana hosted my girlfriend and me along with another couple and we had an absolute ball! Both chefs were engaging and informative as they guided us through making our first paella (which was extremely delicious). Walking through Ruzafa Market was a blast as well. It was fun to learn about the history of paella and its significance to Valencia while indulging in traditional Spanish tapas and sangria. If you plan on visiting Valencia, make sure to book this experience!

What an incredible adventure I had in Valencia! I kicked off my journey with my very first paella and sangria class, and it was nothing short of amazing. We began by exploring the local market, handpicking the freshest ingredients for our delicious paella. Then, we dove into a fun and interactive sangria-making session paired with mouthwatering tapas. Finally, the highlight of the day: crafting our own seafood, vegetarian, and authentic Valencian paellas! This class was an absolute blast, and I can’t recommend it enough if you’re ready to dive into the world of paella! Don't miss out on this fantastic experience!

The paella-making class was one of the highlights of my recent trip to Spain. I enjoyed shopping at the nearby market for the traditional fresh ingredients for our dishes. At the cooking space, we were offered delicious tapas to eat and instructed in the proper way to make awesome sangria, which of course we were able to drink. I really liked working in groups to create our delicious paella because I had the chance to meet and talk with the other students. Anna and Valentine were great teachers!! They both had a wonderful sense of humor and made the class so enjoyable. I can't rate this experience highly enough for anyone who likes to cook.

What a fun, and delicious, time we had! First a trip to the fabulous Rustafa market and then over to the kitchen to cook both seafood and veggie paella. First we had tapas and Sangria and then Anna supervised our cooking. Hands-on and so much fun! Alternative beverages are offered for light- or non- drinkers. We all sat and enjoyed our efforts like a big family dinner. Highly recommend!

This experience was a lot of fun. The chef was knowledgeable and engaging and shared a lot of insights about the history and cultural significance of Paella as well as of course the cooking process and technique. We started off by going to the market to shop for our ingredients before proceeding to the kitchen.
It was a fun cooking experience learning about the ingredients and the process resulting in a very yummy paella. The tapas were delicious and the sangria to die for. Great and fun chefs.
