Learn how to master the art and beauty of playing with fire in the kitchen!
In this hands-on class with Chef Taylor, you will have the opportunity to practice basic culinary torch techniques in a variety of kitchen applications.
You will begin with a simple salad that showcases the jewel-like tones of brûléed grapefruit. Then, move on to a classic French onion soup where you will learn how to caramelize onions and develop flavors in a soup base topped with a torched and melted gruyere cheese crostini. Lastly, you'll finish by learning how to form the perfect caramelized sugar top on a classic creme brûlée.
Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.
