What You’ll Do

Get creative with fresh sushi as well as a variety of other unique Asian offerings.

In this hands-on class with Chef Kiet, you will learn all the basics of sushi making so that you can feel free to get creative and invent your own sushi at home.

The basis of good sushi is all in the prep work. Chef Kiet will teach you how to properly prepare rice as well as the basic knife skills needed to prepare your fish. Once you've honed the basics, Chef Kiet will provide inspiration with chef's choice specials, but also give you the freedom to try your own creations.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

From the very beginning, I felt welcome and comfortable in Chek Kiet's cooking space. The seating area is intimate, offering guests a "closer than front row" seat to watch the preparations, cooking and plating process. Questions were answered in a conversational style, allowing Chef Kiet to multitask easily and effortlessly.
