In this hands-on class, Chef Mel fosters fun and creativity in an unforgettably delicious culinary experience. While preparing a three-course Greek menu, you will be learn how to cook with authentic Greek ingredients using innovative techniques.
Chef Mel will show you how toasting nuts, seeds, and legumes makes all the difference. You will also learn how to take dolmades to a whole new level. Plus, you will be able to create your own trio of sauces from scratch, including tzatziki, tahini, and green goddess sauce to dip your cinnamon-spiced lamb meatballs into.
Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.
Toasted Spiced Chickpea Salad
With shaved carrots, mint, cilantro and lemon-honey vinaigrette
Collard Green Dolmades
With wild rice, feta, dried currants, fresh mint, parsley and yogurt sauce
Cinnamon Spiced Lamb Meatballs
With a trio of dipping sauces

Chef Mel​, a former personal chef and caterer,​ specializes in creating healthy, natural and organic meals.​ ​​She is passionate about educating others on how to cook and eat well, and has shared her zest for culinary instruction by teaching children's cooking classes and volunteering for cooking programs. Her culinary education arsenal boasts completion from the Natural Food Chef Program at the Nutrition Therapy Institute​.​ Join Chef Mel for a fun and informative experience!
