Join Chef Peter as he shares his Malaysian roots with you in this exotic class.
In this hands-on class, Chef Peter is excited to share with you a taste of Malaysian cuisine. He will teach you how to prepare a four-course meal that will introduce you to the vibrant flavors, smells, and techniques of Malaysian cuisine.
You will begin by learning to make a sweet and savory beef satay. You will also learn the secret to making fragrant coconut rice to elevate any meal as well as how to properly sauté bok choy. Lastly, you will round out your meal with an authentic dessert roti.
Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.
Beef Satay
Marinated in soy, turmeric and honey with a tamarind BBQ sauce
Coconut Rice
Cooked with coconut and fragrant pandan leaves
Sautéed Bok Choy
Stir-fried with fresh garlic
Dessert Roti
Flakey flatbread topped with condensed milk, cinnamon and sugar

Upon returning from a backpacking trip through Southeast Asia, Chef Peter began his foray into the culinary world and opened a Malaysian-inspired street food restaurant. Chef Peter’s success has been featured in the Seattle Times, Seattle Met, The Stranger, and featured on the Food Network. His enthusiastic personality and knack for exciting cuisine are packaged together and offered in the form of incredible cooking classes.
