What You’ll Do

Journey to China and explore both the exceptionally unusual and familiar flavors of the region.

In this hands-on class, Chef Jordan W. will guide you through creating a lavish, yet authentic Chinese menu that will introduce you to the culinary techniques and flavor profiles reminiscent of the country.

Begin with an appetizer of caramelized Mongolian wings with notes of garlic and ginger. Then, move onto an entrée of crispy spiced kung pao shrimp sautéed with peppers and peanuts to be enjoyed with ginger scallion fried rice loaded with fresh vegetables. Lastly, Chinese banana fritters topped with white sesame seeds and powdered sugar end the evening.
