I consider Japanese cuisine to be the best in the world and my personal favorite. I often cook rustic, home-style "ofukuro no aji" dishes, literally translated as "mother's taste" cooking. My traditional Japanese food is clean and healthy, with a subtle balance of flavor. I also create original and modern Japanese recipes, based on my 5 years of living in Japan. I believe that cooking tells a story about the cook's life and I have many delicious stories yet to tell.

I was completely fascinated by this class. Chef Leslie taught us how to build a bento box from scratch, incorporating components of savory, sweet, sour, bitter, and salty. Every bit was delicious and the final product was a work of art. Chef Leslie is very knowledgeable about traditional Japanese cuisine, based on her time spent living in Tokyo, and is very happy to share what she knows.

I booked a vegetarian cooking class on Cozymeal with Chef Leslie and it couldn't have been better. The food, the atmosphere, the chef - everything was just right. Looking forward to my next event with Chef Leslie!
