What You’ll Do

Led by an expert chef, you'll prepare a traditional fish and chips meal.

Celebrate classic comfort food with a fun, hands-on cooking class inspired by a British pub favorite. You’ll learn how to make perfectly crispy beer-battered fish and golden chips, paired with zesty coleslaw tossed in creamy remoulade. For dessert, bake buttery strawberry shortcakes with fresh whipped cream. Sip on refreshing Arnold Palmers as you cook, laugh and enjoy this delicious and satisfying menu from start to finish.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

This class is suitable for ages 14+ with an adult present. Children under 17 must be accompanied by a paying adult. Class price is per person.

Chef Michael emigrated to the U.S. from Romania with his family at the age of seven. He followed his family's culinary interests and found joy in the kitchen, with his grandmother and his parents leading the way. After working in various restaurants through high school and beyond, he developed a taste for finer cuisine. His resume grew to include event catering as well as teaching cooking classes, for which Chef Michael holds an abiding passion.

We loved the experience with chef Michael! He kept the class interesting, fun, and he's full of knowledge! Only thing is that the pizza should've had more toppings, but that's not his fault. We'd do it again hands down

Nice teacher but would have preferred to not share a station - 4 people meant we spent too much time waiting and watching. Wished we had come home with baked croissants since that was the main feature advertised. Otherwise we learned a lot and the cinnamon rolls and pain de chocolate were delicious.

The class was informative &’ I cannot wait to cook the recipe myself at home. The only thing I would change would be the large amount of other students in the class. It felt a bit rushed through. I was hoping for a bit more teacher/student learning experience, especially with all of the chopping that was needed. I am looking forward to taking more cooking classes, but I am not sure I’ll visit this place again.

My husband and I had an enjoyable time. The food turned out excellent. Chef Joy and the others in the class were delightful to be around. There was a lot of standing. I wish we had been able to at least sit down to eat the delicious food. Overall great experience.
