What You’ll Do

A four-day cooking class series for teens exploring Filipino, Asian, Mexican and French cuisines.

Join this exciting four-day cooking class series designed exclusively for teens to explore global cuisines. Day one features Filipino favorites like chicken adobo, pancit and banana-stuffed lumpia. On day two, dive into Asian flavors with BBQ-baked bao buns, cucumber salad, wiggle cake and milk tea boba. Day three brings vibrant Mexican dishes like birria tacos, elote dip and flan. Finish with day four’s French bistro-inspired steak frites and lava cakes.

Tea, coffee and water will be provided. Guests are welcome to bring non-alcoholic beverages.

Chef D.C. Bland brings over 42 years of culinary expertise, having worked as a line cook and executive chef in various esteemed kitchens. A graduate of Le Cordon Bleu with a recent Bachelor’s in Food and Nutrition Entrepreneurship, Chef D.C. Bland combines classic training with a passion for creating memorable dining experiences. Known for his commitment to quality and creativity, he brings warmth and skill to every dish. Outside the kitchen, he enjoys sailing, playing bass guitar at his church and golfing.

Very basic class, could have shown more cutting techniques. The classroom was very noisy because they were washing dishes throughout the class. I was expecting a lot more.

This is not the chef we had,though the chef we had at Sur La table was great. There was very little information shared with me about where we were actually going like the fact we were going to Siur La Table. I could’ve booked that on my own. I was expecting a better experience for my team and while our chef was great, they were preparing for the class after us from the minute we walked in and it was incredibly distracting and noisy. Probably would not book with you again. My mistake.
