Celebrate the diverse flavors of Latin America with Chef Jennifer!

Latin cuisine is as festive in flavor as the culture surrounding it, and now you can enjoy learning to prepare a mouthwatering menu in a fun and exciting environment free from intimidation. Chef Jennifer greatly enjoys sharing her love for cooking, which has been with her since childhood. She also believes that there are always new culinary discoveries to be made with each cooking experience.

Your journey begins with a zesty tomatillo pico de gallo, followed by luscious Guatemalan dobladas. Continue with delectable fish tacos. Your class concludes with an avocado mango coconut sorbet that is fit-for-the-gods. The best part is being able to take your knowledge home with you to delight friends and family again and again.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

I loved cooking and baking (and eating!) from a very young age. I spent time in the kitchen with my mother and grandmother, watching and being included in making food with love. I was inspired by Julia Child's story of following her passion for food and I continue to be inspired to learn new things and share them with my students. I utilize local Pacific Northwest ingredients in new ways, combining them with the rich local heritage of our many immigrant cultures.
