What You’ll Do

Teens will explore Chinese, American, Italian and Bavarian cuisines with hands-on cooking, creating delicious dishes.

This four-day cooking class series for teens offers hands-on experience with popular cuisines. On day one, students explore Chinese cuisine with BBQ pork buns, sesame soba noodles and pineapple-lime sorbet. On day two, they master American classics like cheeseburger macaroni, veggie tots and root beer floats. On day three, they make Italian treats, including homemade pasta, chicken meatballs and cannoli dip. Finally, on day four, they explore Bavarian bites like schnitzel, spaetzle and Black Forest cupcakes.

Tea, coffee and water will be provided. Guests are welcome to bring non-alcoholic beverages.

Chef D.C. Bland brings over 42 years of culinary expertise, having worked as a line cook and executive chef in various esteemed kitchens. A graduate of Le Cordon Bleu with a recent Bachelor’s in Food and Nutrition Entrepreneurship, Chef D.C. Bland combines classic training with a passion for creating memorable dining experiences. Known for his commitment to quality and creativity, he brings warmth and skill to every dish. Outside the kitchen, he enjoys sailing, playing bass guitar at his church and golfing.

Terrible class with no recipes or notes we could take. Pizza was terrible and chef said she has never made pizza at home
