What You’ll Do

Celebrate the vibrant heritage of Louisiana cuisine and discover bold, spicy culinary traditions.

In this cooking class, experience the vibrant culinary traditions of Louisiana, known for its lively music and warm hospitality. Start by simmering a rich chicken and andouille sausage gumbo and enjoy peel-and-eat shrimp with tangy remoulade dipping sauce. Savor the soul of Cajun cooking with red beans and rice and cap off the feast with bananas foster and vanilla ice cream, a sweet treat that reflects the state’s spirited heritage.

Tea, coffee and water will be provided. Guests are welcome to bring non-alcoholic beverages.

This class is suitable for ages 14+ with an adult present. Children under 17 must be accompanied by a paying adult. Class price is per person.

A bit too fast and not enough time to ask question. I wish the duration is longer.

Experience would have been better if there cooking was not divided up among 4 people. The cooking is dramatically diminished when you have to divide up the cooking among 4 individuals. It not quite fair considering each person paid $100 for the experience. I did not pay to watch other people cook for me.
