What You’ll Do

Learn how to prepare full-flavored Tuscan classic bread recipes at home.

This fun and engaging cooking class focuses on bread-centered Tuscan classics, bringing new flavors to your home kitchen. Chef April will guide you step by step through preparing artisan bread and flavorful Italian recipes to accompany it.

Chef April will provide pre-mixed homemade dough that you'll shape into golden, crusty loaves, which you'll bake during the class. Additionally, you’ll also make your own dough from scratch that will need time to ferment, so you'll take this dough home to bake fresh bread later. You'll also create a creamy dipping sauce by mixing baked Fontina with olive oil, garlic, thyme and rosemary. Next, prepare a hearty Tuscan ribolita soup with onions, carrots, spinach, cannellini beans and pancetta, - perfect for dipping your fresh bread. Finally, you'll indulge in a sweet apple crisp made with old-fashioned rolled oats, brown sugar and butter.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.
