What You’ll Do

Learn to create iconic French pastries like Paris-Brest, éclairs and croquembouche.

In this exciting cooking class, you’ll master the art of making pâte à choux, the essential French pastry dough used for a variety of sweet and savory treats. Chef Agnes will guide you step-by-step through the process of creating the perfect choux pastry, helping you manage the dough’s consistency and pipe it into beautiful shapes.

You’ll then move on to create three iconic French pastries: the Paris-Brest, a ring-shaped pastry filled with rich praline crème mousseline; éclairs, filled with creamy pastry cream and topped with a glossy chocolate glaze; and a stunning croquembouche, a tower of profiteroles bound together with caramel. By the end of this class, you’ll have the skills to create these impressive treats, perfect for any occasion.

Guests are welcome to provide wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

We used Chef Agnes' services for a wedding celebration we had for our daughter. Chef Agnes baked a three-tier cake; each tier of a different flavor. The cake was absolutely wonderful, the texture, the flavors, the decoration of the cake, we loved it all. On top of it, Chef Agnes also baked for us gluten free and vegan cupcakes to accommodate some of our guests; the cupcakes were wonderful as well; we had many complements on both the cake and the cupcakes from a lot of our guests. I will definitely use Chef Agnes’ services again. She is very easy to work with and delivers product of exceptional quality. Strongly recommend.
