Cooking Class - Choux Pastry Fundamentals

What You’ll Do

Become a master pâtissier at an insightful, pro chef led session.

In this technique driven cooking class, you’ll learn how to prepare an assortment of classic sweet and savory French pastries. Start by mastering choux pastry and use it to make ham and Swiss cheese Gougères and traditional cream puffs with raspberry whipped cream. Then finish with a true icon — eclairs with vanilla cream and dark chocolate glaze.

Tea, coffee and water will be provided. Guests are welcome to bring non-alcoholic beverages.

This class is suitable for ages 14+ with an adult present. Children under 17 must be accompanied by a paying adult. Class price is per person.

This was a great team-building experience with Chef Stephanie, aka "Chefanie." She is informative and engaging. The chef allowed us to ask questions and provided plenty of opportunities to share the cooking and learning experience. My only suggestion would be to offer stools to participants since eating the meal standing up was awkward and uncomfortable after standing for 2+ hours during preparation
