This is the class for kids to learn how to make a childhood favorite by hand!
This class was designed by Italian Chef Joey to teach kids the fundamentals of making pizza from scratch.
During the class, kids will learn the proper way to roll and toss pizza, as well as important lessons, such as the less-is-more concept as it applies to topping a pizza, as well as explore fun flavor combinations. Each child will get to make four authentic Italian pizzas using the dough recipe Chef Joey learned at a famous pizzeria called La Funivia in Albano, a suburb of Rome.
Kids need to be accompanied by an adult for this class; adults required to purchase tickets in addition to kids.
Part 1: Organization
The kids will assist Chef Joey in getting the toppings organized, tossing stations prepped, the pizza stones floured, and the paddles ready.

Part 2: Rolling and Tossing
The kids will watch Chef Joey demo rolling and tossing the dough. Each kid will receive dough a ball at a time and begin rolling and tossing with Chef Joey's assistance.

Part 3: Toppings
The kids will learn how to swirl Chef Joey's signature organic sugo (tomato-basil sauce).

Part 4: Baking the Pizzas
With the chef's help, the kids will slide their pizzas into the oven and watch them bake in minutes.
Most dietary restrictions can be accommodated if noted prior to the event. Please mention this in the message field when you submit your booking request as adjustments to recipes cannot be made during class.
