Cooking Class - Croissant Fundamentals

What You’ll Do

Try your hand at making these delightful French pastries.

This cooking class is perfect if you’ve ever wanted to create homemade croissants from scratch. You’ll work with a top pastry chef who will share their knowledge with you, from making your dough to rolling and shaping it into flaky, buttery layers. You’ll learn essential techniques for achieving that signature laminated dough. In the end, you’ll take home two types of croissants: savory and sweet.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

This class is suitable for ages 14+ with an adult present. Children under 17 must be accompanied by a paying adult. Class price is per person.

Meet your chef


Chef Michael arrived in the culinary world as an all-around creative looking for his next challenge. His career in environmental and graphic design included work with Toyota and Amazon before his fascination with cuisine led him to Le Cordon Bleu for a blue ribbon program of study. He honed his talents further as assistant pastry chef at Le Marais. Now, Chef Michael applies his creativity to teaching others the art of cuisine.
