Discover the world of plant-based tacos with this immersive cooking class. Chef Maggie will share techniques and insight to create a Mexican feast suited for your guests whether they are vegan or not.

Begin by pressing your tortillas using a traditional press and explore diverse fillings featuring jackfruit, mushrooms, soy chorizo and a mix of vibrant vegetables. Discover different flavor combinations and the versatility of cooking with vegan ingredients. Learn how to balance sweet and savory elements, such as pairing spicy soy chorizo with sweet pineapple to create exciting taste profiles. By the end, you will have mastered three unique vegan taco varieties perfect for any occasion.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Formerly a cook at a yoga and wellness retreat and sous chef at a vegan restaurant, this yoga instructor and current cooking school chef instructor is passionate about vegan food, which is evident in her curated plant-based creations. Chef Maggie was AMAZING! We had such a fantastic time with her at our home. The food was incredible, and we learned so much—from chopping techniques to vegan cooking tips and even creative ways to use leftovers. Speaking of which, we have so many leftovers and can’t wait to enjoy them tomorrow when we’re not as full! Maggie came fully prepared with everything needed for the class, making the experience seamless. She was organized, engaging, and an absolute joy to chat with. This was fun, informative, and delicious! Maggie made a custom menu for us and was extremely positive and accommodating. She was extremely professional and prepared, and she was totally unfazed by our rather small kitchen. Highly recommend!
