The captivating flavors of Peru are within reach through an interactive cooking class that celebrates this vibrant South American cuisine. Cooks eager to expand their international dining repertoire will delight in this lively Latin menu.

Under the guidance of a skilled instructor, you'll explore the heritage and customs behind the recipes as you prepare papa a la huancaina, Peruvian boiled potatoes with a spicy cheese sauce. Then, create lomo saltado, a flavorful sautéed sirloin steak with tangy vinegar, fresh herbs and French fries. Finally, indulge in a sweet mazamorra morada, a traditional Peruvian purple corn dessert flavored with cinnamon, cloves, pineapple and lime.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Journey Culinary and chef Deborah Dupuis hosted a private cooking class for my family group of 6. They readily helped arrange a menu alternative to meet a dietary restriction for one of our group. Chef Deborah was friendly and informative as we moved through meal preparation. The Italian meal we created was delicious! The space was intimate and we very much enjoyed the activity together as a family. We plan to go back and we recommend Journey Culinary to others.
