Cooking Class - On a Roll: Sushi Making

What You’ll Do

Making your own sushi is easier than you think. And it's fun!

One of the best skills you can learn in a cooking class is how to make sushi. You'll learn the basics of hand-rolling with staples like a spicy tuna roll. From there, exercise your creativity by making your own combinations. This class will also teach you how to make perfect vegetable tempura and a refreshing beverage to complement the meal.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

This class is suitable for ages 14+ with an adult present. Children under 17 must be accompanied by a paying adult. Class price is per person.

Meet your chef


Chef Michael arrived in the culinary world as an all-around creative looking for his next challenge. His career in environmental and graphic design included work with Toyota and Amazon before his fascination with cuisine led him to Le Cordon Bleu for a blue ribbon program of study. He honed his talents further as assistant pastry chef at Le Marais. Now, Chef Michael applies his creativity to teaching others the art of cuisine.
