Cooking Class - French Pub Favorites

What You’ll Do

Join this class featuring casual French comfort foods.

Cooking classes featuring French cuisine don't have to be complicated. Enjoy the casual but comforting French dishes that any meat-and-potato lover will appreciate. You'll start by learning how the French prepare steak frites, a classic restaurant-quality dish. Next, you'll prepare a traditional French salad with frisee, bacon lardons and a warm poached egg. For dessert, you'll prepare Crepes Suzette.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

This class is suitable for ages 14+ with an adult present. Children under 17 must be accompanied by a paying adult. Class price is per person.

Meet your chef


Chef Michael arrived in the culinary world as an all-around creative looking for his next challenge. His career in environmental and graphic design included work with Toyota and Amazon before his fascination with cuisine led him to Le Cordon Bleu for a blue ribbon program of study. He honed his talents further as assistant pastry chef at Le Marais. Now, Chef Michael applies his creativity to teaching others the art of cuisine.

My son and I had a great time at the cooking class. Chef Michael was really good with the class, getting everyone involved and offering lots of useful cooking tips. We would definitely take another class.

This was a great experience. Chef Michael was very friendly and knowledgeable. Everything was well organized and chef Michael circulated and offered help to all groups. I would absolutely do this again and recommend to others.
