What You’ll Do

Authentic Italian flavors paired with handmade pasta.

Join a cooking class inspired by ancient Italian traditions - perfect pasta led by a five-star chef. Chef Florence will offer multiple methods of preparing pasta from scratch even without a pasta machine.

Every step of the menu will be a celebration of the love and passion that go into crafting this menu. Master the art of foolproof pasta dough and shape it by hand. Of course, pasta is incomplete without sauce - so you will be making that too. Whether you're a seasoned home cook or a beginner eager to try your hand at pasta-making, this event is designed for all skill levels to enjoy.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

We absolutely loved our time with Chef Florence! She was very friendly and did an outstanding job in teaching us how to prepare an authentic Italian meal. The food was delicious and the six of us enjoyed being able to take part in the entire preparation process. We HIGHLY recommend both her and the experience to others!!

Chef Florence was a delight. She gently instructed us, adapted the recipes for allergens, and significantly contributed to our holiday party atmosphere. She provided great tips. We also loved her no-waste policy and culinary viewpoint on sustainability. We thoroughly enjoyed our class and time with Chef Florence. We happily give her 5 stars!

This was such a great memory making experience for my daughters & I. We learned, we laughed & found a French speaking friend. The evening was an absolute success & I’m so glad I found this option. Chef Florence is engaging & just lovely in the way she imparts her knowledge of baking. I highly recommend.

Ya'll, it was SO FUN!!!! We did a family zoom cooking class for my Mom's birthday. Florence worked with us on a menu that met all of our dietary needs, let us choose what we preferred, and was super thorough in details prior to the night. I was a bit skeptical of how this would work on zoom, but you would have thought we were all together in person. It was seamless and such a blast. She talked us through how to cook each dish, chatted with us throughout, and taught us so much. The food was out of this world too! I would highly recommend an experience like this for your family or friends.

Florence created one of the more memorable family birthday celebrations! We were celebrating two young adult birthdays and Florence helped create a delicious menu. Her cooking class was informal but kept everyone engaged and learning new skills such as pasta making and knife skills. The food was fresh and local and seasonal. Florence was an absolute delight to spend time with. My family is still raving about what a fun evening we had. I will definitely use Florence for my next catered event.

Florence led 14 of us through a cooking class to make crepes and toppings for Raleigh Sister Cities. She is patient, thoughtful, and did an excellent job modeling how to make the dish and teaching us how to do it. She’s wonderful to work with and a gracious host! Her teaching style is lovely--just enough explanations without being overbearing. Our cooking endeavors were so successful-- with attractive, delicious and hearty meals in a relaxed atmosphere.
