I hold a degree from Le Cordon Bleu’s California Culinary Academy and bring my experiences of world travel to my cooking classes. I love exotic, bold, well-balanced flavors and utilizing spices from around the world. For my entire life, food and cooking have been a gateway to adventure. Chef Mel is a WONDERFUL teacher and an amazing chef. She is so welcoming and her living space is amazing! From her garden to her beautiful hens, I had an absolute blast during my time with her. Chef Mel is so passionate about cooking. Just the way she talks about her adventures and traveling from country to country and describing the way she creates her dishes is inspiring... I will definitely be taking her class again.
