What You’ll Do

Discover distinctive dishes from Spanish and Portuguese cuisines.

In this immersive cooking class, you’ll explore signature flavors from across the Iberian peninsula. A talented chef instructor will highlight the similarities and differences between Spanish and Portuguese cuisines as you prepare classic dishes such as spicy and complex piri piri chicken as well as rich and luxurious brûléed custard tarts known as Pastéis de Nata.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

This class is suitable for ages 14+ with an adult present. Children under 17 must be accompanied by a paying adult. Class price is per person.

Meet your chef


Chef Michael arrived in the culinary world as an all-around creative looking for his next challenge. His career in environmental and graphic design included work with Toyota and Amazon before his fascination with cuisine led him to Le Cordon Bleu for a blue ribbon program of study. He honed his talents further as assistant pastry chef at Le Marais. Now, Chef Michael applies his creativity to teaching others the art of cuisine.
