Cooking Class - 5-Day Foodie Fun teens: Exploring Cuisine

What You’ll Do

Kids will take a global taste tour and make flavorful discoveries while improving their skills.

Each new day brings a new culinary adventure in this immersive summer cooking series, aimed at 12-17-year-olds. Your teens will be taught a variety of recipes by a skilled chef who will equip them with essential kitchen skills and tips along the way. These summer cooking classes cover cuisine from around the world, so they’ll never get bored during the 5-days. Once finished, your teens will receive a certificate of completion and a menu showcasing each meal they prepared.

Classes typically run for two to two and a half hours, unless specified otherwise. Group work is a key component; kids can expect to collaborate with four other students. The class involves standing, cooking and active participation throughout. Comfortable, closed-toe shoes are required and long hair should be securely tied back for safety. Please note that these are drop-off classes. Parents do not stay during the classes.

Chef D.C. Bland brings over 42 years of culinary expertise, having worked as a line cook and executive chef in various esteemed kitchens. A graduate of Le Cordon Bleu with a recent Bachelor’s in Food and Nutrition Entrepreneurship, Chef D.C. Bland combines classic training with a passion for creating memorable dining experiences. Known for his commitment to quality and creativity, he brings warmth and skill to every dish. Outside the kitchen, he enjoys sailing, playing bass guitar at his church and golfing.

Terrible class with no recipes or notes we could take. Pizza was terrible and chef said she has never made pizza at home
