Cooking Class - 3-Day Foodie Fun Kids: Mini Chefs

What You’ll Do

Three days where young chefs explore, create and conquer delicious dishes using expert techniques.

This exciting cooking series offers a summer activity that's both fun and educational for your 7-11 year-olds. Over 3 days, your kids will learn to use fundamental cooking techniques that include kneading, rolling and steaming to create a bevy of mouth-watering dishes, all under the guidance of a skilled chef. These hands-on summer cooking classes will make sure that they gain new skills, boost their confidence and even bring home a menu and certificate of completion to showcase their culinary prowess.

Classes typically run for two to two and a half hours, unless specified otherwise. Group work is a key component; kids can expect to collaborate with four other students. The class involves standing, cooking and active participation throughout. Comfortable, closed-toe shoes are required and long hair should be securely tied back for safety. Please note that these are drop-off classes. Parents do not stay during the classes.

Great class! It was slightly unorganized at the start, but I believe it was because it was the last class right before a major holiday. I learned more in this class than in the other cooking classes in general. Well done!

The class was excellent. Both in terms of how clear and easy to follow the instructions were, value for money and how well the recipes turned out. Yes, I know that in this age and times, you have plenty of resources to learn anything, especially cooking, but nothing beats the experience of doing it by yourself, handling the ingredients, mixing up things and creating an Instagram worthy, restaurant quality masterpiece. Chef Shameem (I hope I am not mixing up her name) was excellent with her clear instructions and also kept a watchful eye on everyone to make sure the fine line between a great creation and also-ran is not crossed. Overall experience: Great!
