Cooking Class - 5-Day Foodie Fun Kids: Bake Away!

What You’ll Do

Young chefs uncover baking basics and kitchen confidence in this sweet and savory cooking series.

Baking basics are essential in any kitchen; your young chef can discover them in this cooking series. Budding foodies ages 7-11 are invited to join a five-star chef for confidence-building summer cooking classes where they'll learn valuable techniques and practice cooking safety. The course explores the art of sweet and savory baking from kneading dough to twisting pretzels and beyond. Every class also covers kitchen safety, and the weekends with a fun baking challenge. Take home recipes and a graduation certificate to commemorate your accomplishments.

Classes typically run for two to two and a half hours, unless specified otherwise. Group work is a key component; kids can expect to collaborate with four other students. The class involves standing, cooking and active participation throughout. Comfortable, closed-toe shoes are required and long hair should be securely tied back for safety. Please note that these are drop-off classes. Parents do not stay during the classes.

I thought the class was okay. I got more cooking tips from another participant. I felt like the female chef was very rude. Our chef was only interactive with one group. I was really expecting more.
