Cooking Class - 4-Day Foodie Fun Kids: Bakery Adventure

What You’ll Do

Let your young chef flourish through hands-on experiences with this bakeshop series.

In this four-day cooking series designed for ages 7-11, children embark on a culinary adventure to become creative and confident cooks. From flipping crêpes to kneading dough, decorating cakes and more, young chefs explore baking techniques and fundamental food preparation and safety measures. Set in an enjoyable kitchen environment, the experience includes hands-on activities in a delightful and fulfilling realm of baking. Each participant receives a printed menu and a graduation certificate to take home, making this a memorable addition to these summer cooking classes.

Classes typically run for two to two and a half hours, unless specified otherwise. Group work is a key component; kids can expect to collaborate with four other students. The class involves standing, cooking and active participation throughout. Comfortable, closed-toe shoes are required and long hair should be securely tied back for safety. Chef Jimmy ran the class. It was very informative, learned a lot. He was very knowledgeable and we enjoyed it. Only suggestions are time management and initial introduction.
