What You’ll Do

Impress your dinner guests with fundamental Chinese culinary techniques

In this immersive cooking class, you'll learn how to create authentic Chinese cuisine from an expert chef. From special cutting techniques to pickling vegetables, this hands-on class will teach you everything you need to create a delicious Chinese meal. First, you will learn how to pickle cucumber and create delicate carrot "flowers". You will then cook a traditional Chinese stir-fry using shrimp or chicken and learn how to make perfect rice. You'll finish the meal by crafting a delicate almond float with a fresh fruit cocktail.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Chef Carole was amazing! She was very patient and able to explain and demonstrate techniques from beginning to the end. She designed a menu that was appropriate to our level and fun to cook.
