What You’ll Do

A world of fresh, handmade sushi awaits you in this interactive cooking class.

Step into the world of made-from-scratch sushi and discover time-honored techniques and more over several courses. Get familiar with Japanese flavors by creating dishes like colorful hand rolls, or temaki, with bright seasonal vegetables, fresh seafood-filled sushi rolls, various umami-infused sauces, and more.

Tea, coffee and water will be provided. Guests are welcome to bring non-alcoholic beverages.

This class is suitable for ages 14+ with an adult present. Children under 17 must be accompanied by a paying adult. Class price is per person.

Meet your chef


Chef Jennifer has been passionate about cooking since crafting her own meatloaf recipe at age eight. She holds a BA in Art History from the University of Louisville and spent her early career as a visual merchandise manager and scenic artist. After raising three daughters, Chef Jennifer honed her skills further at The Columbus Culinary Institute, earning an Associate’s Degree in Culinary Arts. For the past decade, she has worked as a personal chef, media food stylist and chef instructor.

Most fun I’ve had in a long time. Learned so much. Went home and was able to bake a Hugh loaf of bread. I’m taking the pumpkin class tomorrow with my daughter. We’re excited
