Create your favorite French dishes from scratch and unlock a new set of cooking techniques.

Gain confidence in new culinary skills with this professional chef-led cooking class focused on French dishes. Master precision knife skills as you slice tuna and whisk together ginger, yuzu and cilantro before assembling a tower of mango, avocado and tuna tartare. Season and sear beef medallions while you reduce red wine for a rich sauce. Master the mandolin for thinly sliced potatoes then top with cheese and cream sauce for a beautiful baked gratin that is shockingly easy to make. For dessert, a rustic and delicious whole apple stuffed with frangipane.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

We decided to book Chef Benoit for a Valentine’s Day dinner/date. My partner and I came in with different cooking abilities and both found the experience enjoyable! Chef Benoit prepared a delicious menu that was easy to follow while still exposing us to French cuisine and techniques! He was easy to talk to and was happy to answer any questions we had about the process. Overall, a very enjoyable time if you are looking to learn more about cooking and eat a lovely meal afterwards.

My recent Cozymeal experience with Chef Benoit was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment I stepped into his warm and inviting home, I knew I was in for a memorable culinary adventure. Chef Benoit’s expertise shone through as we embarked on the delightful task of creating an exquisite meal. We began with a delicate and flavorful tuna tartare that set the tone for the evening. Following this, we prepared tournedos of beef filet accompanied by a rich and savory oyster mushroom fricassée. The potatoes au gratin were perfectly creamy, while the green asparagus added a vibrant touch to the palette of dishes.
