What You’ll Do

Take a trip to the Big Easy through flavor, fragrance and colorful cuisine.

Bring the flavors of authentic New Orleans cuisine to your home table with this cooking class. Learn how to source, slice, grill or roast chicken and produce into authentic recipes. Use ingredients and techniques famous for putting the Big Easy on the culinary map.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

This class is suitable for ages 14+ with an adult present. Children under 17 must be accompanied by a paying adult. Class price is per person.

Meet your chef


Chef Michael arrived in the culinary world as an all-around creative looking for his next challenge. His career in environmental and graphic design included work with Toyota and Amazon before his fascination with cuisine led him to Le Cordon Bleu for a blue ribbon program of study. He honed his talents further as assistant pastry chef at Le Marais. Now, Chef Michael applies his creativity to teaching others the art of cuisine.

My son and I had a great time at the cooking class. Chef Michael was really good with the class, getting everyone involved and offering lots of useful cooking tips. We would definitely take another class.
