Begin with golden, sweet cornbread before you begin preparing sumptuous, savory collard greens that draw flavor depth from traditional ham hocks and bacon. Get down on chicken fried steak with a perfect crunch then end this satisfying Southern meal with creamy, classic banana pudding.

The chef was nice and accommodating but the foods were beyond unsatisfying. Fish products were limited and not fresh. Meat stuffing in dumplings were sour. It tasted like overdue meat. I have hired private chefs to my private chef events before and this was definitely not the best experience we had. My kitchen was left a mess. Supplies were left in random areas of my house and very disorganized. I usually do not give bad ratings but this did not meet my expectations at all. I hope he does a better job at sanitation, organizing, and prepping for his future events.
