We had a wonderful time with Chef Wei. We loved learning how to balance the flavors of pot stickers and soup dumplings. It was also great to learn how to properly fold and wrap the different dim sum. I know we will be attempting these recipes at home. She was a gracious host, and a kind and patient teacher. Would highly recommend.

We had a great class with Chef Wei! She was patient, informative, and knowledgeable. The food was amazing, and we learned so much! I would definitely recommend taking this class for anyone looking to learn some authentic and simple dim sum recipes.

Chef Wei was an excellent teacher! The class was a unique experience that makes you feel at home all while learning from a highly skilled and sweet chef. The class was the perfect choice for date night for my wife and I, we will definitely be doing this again!

It was not what I was expecting. I thought it would be an actual cooking class where you get to cook. We actually didn’t do any cooking. She demonstrated most of the dishes like a private chef. If I knew it would be like that I would have not reserved it. Plus I put in the notes that one person does not eat pork. She decided to use beef which is something I don’t really eat often. I mainly eat chicken. The one thing I did not like is that when she would use chopsticks to mix the pork with the other ingredients she used the same chopsticks to mix the beef with the other ingredients. I had explained before we started that pork makes me sick. She had almost mixed in gelatin which contained pork feet with the beef until I pointed it out. Today my stomach has been upset. I am cautious with what I eat since I have a sensitive stomach. I doubt I will be doing this again.

Gifted this experience to my wife. At the moment of booking, Wei accepted to replace the onion crispy cake with a kind of "gyoza" I showed by picture. The day of the class, another couple was with us, and Wei decided to do only what listed on the experience: no "gyoza", she said that she would have send me the recipe thereafter (why do I need to come to a class then???).
Apart from this, the onion crispy cake was just flour mixed with green onion, the soup was OK and then noodles were OK too.
Too priced, I would have preferred to know it before. I would not pay half of the original price was such experience. Not recommended.

This was not what we expected. Not a cooking class but mostly a demonstration. If your expectation is to have a hands on cooking lesson with a professional chef, please contact Linda to discuss the details ahead to avoid any surprises. At the end Linda was very accommodating and food was great. I just wished to know at the beginning that this is not a cooking session with a professional chef to adjust my expectations.

We learned a lot from our lesson with Chef Wei! She taught us techniques on how to make the dumpling wraps from scratch and how to wrap and style the dumplings. She did all the chopping which let us focus on learning to make the dumplings. My wife was very excited to learn to make the sesame balls and it was nice to see how to make them in a more healthy way. If Chef Wei has new lessons, we definitely will join again.

Had a great experience! Chef Wei makes all her dough from scratch and makes cooking chinese food as simple as making a PBJ sandwich! She is patient and friendly, and will supply everything you need for the experience!

Chef Wei was WONDERFUL! When the family of 4 of us arrived Chef had everything laid out for us and gave an overview of what we'd be doing. She was very informative as we asked questions about her technique in the few things that she had prepped for us before hand. Throughout the process we were all hands on to make the recipe, each getting to try out each piece of the process. What truly set this experience apart was the follow up with some recommendations locally for ingredient shopping and the recipe straight to our email. We can't wait to all get together again so we can use the skills we learned. Such a fun class, thank you!!
