What You’ll Do

Learn to create four of your favorite Japanese dishes with emphasis on seasonal ingredients.

In this immersive cooking class with Chef Jared, you will discover the artful balance between quality cooking and presentation that is imperative to traditional Japanese cuisines. You'll learn how to source fresh seasonal ingredients, expertly roll sushi, and cook tender Japanese ribs for Asian fusion dishes.

To start, learn a classic miso soup recipe that can be easily recreated. Then, craft a California sushi roll, learning how to put the dish together in a professional, visually appealing way. Next, make short-rib udon with veggies for your entrée before finishing with a sweet, modern dessert.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

My husband and I took this class as something different to do. We both really enjoyed it. Chef Jared was very helpful and knowledgeable while keeping the environment fun. Also the food was amazing! Was able to take home some leftovers and recipes so we can make this in the future.

Having this class with Jared was wonderful! He makes it entertaining and is open to all questions! We made enough food to even take home leftovers! I would recommend a class with Jared to anyone!

Jared was very interactive and explained each step of the process. There were a few things that he did in advance to save time, but he was good to explain what and why. Enjoyable experience.
