Born and raised in Atlanta, award-winning Chef Pamela was introduced to cooking by the talented Southern women around her. While living in New Orleans, she developed a taste for Southern and Cajun cuisine. Her career in food service includes time as general manager of a popular NYC restaurant, as well as owning her own Southern eatery in San Diego. Now, Chef Pamela brings her love of cuisine to her exciting cooking classes.

Chef Pamela was absolutely amazing, she came with the energy and made learning fun. The food was delicious!! So delicious in fact that one of our friends, that does not like seafood, actually finished his whole bowl of gumbo and thoroughly enjoyed it. Everyone had a great time and she exceeded our expectations. We would definitely take a class with her again!

We had a fantastic time cooking up a great New Orleans feast with Chef Pamela! Everything was sooo delicious, and we picked up plenty of new skills to try out in our own in the kitchen.

We loved this experience. Chef Pamela was great at getting everyone involved, including our 3 year old, and the food was delicious. We cook quite a bit at home, and we are always looking for new dishes to try, so it was great to have an expert show us how to make gumbo and beignets.

We could not have been more pleased with our Cozymeal Chef Pamela (and her assistant Ashley)...they were phenomenal and truly went above and beyond to ensure we had a fabulous & memorable evening!
From start to finish, Chef Pamela was organized, incredibly experienced, professional yet engaging - she is clearly a remarkable chef and gifted at involving everyone in the group in a positive and uplifting way to create a delicious, one-of-a-kind meal together. The overall experience was wonderful - we were spending time with our future in-laws (celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary) while celebrating our children's engagement (they are getting married in July). It was an opportunity to help us celebrate two lovely events in an intimate and fun fashion so we could all get to know each other better and create a memorable evening in the process. Given her exceptional personality & natural cooking ability, she did just that!
Chef Pamela clearly has an incredible gift for uniting individuals in a fun, creative & warm fashion...Ashley was a lovely assistant and worked seamlessly with Chef Pamela to coordinate the evening (& photo document it as well) while we all created a delicious and uniquely fun dinner together. Shall definitely use Cozymeal again when the opportunity arises and recommend it (and Chef Pamela) to others!

Just a great experience! Pamela was phenomenal to work with and our "I only eat boxed mac-n-cheese" kids are still talking about "the best mac-n-cheese they've ever tasted"! I can't wait until our next experience with Chef Pamela.

Best cooking class ever!!!! Chef Pamela is hilariously charming and her food is BOMB!!! I'm not sure people even cook like this anymore. She's old school new school if that makes any sense, and she had us singing to our food! LOL, it was so awesome! I was hesitant to leave this review for selfish reasons. I don't want her to ever not be available for our group, but her demand will grow, and we're so here for it! Fans for life! Thank you Chef Pamela, you are our favorite!

We love Chef Pamela! We did a private family cooking class with our daughters back in June. We haven't laughed like that in a long time. Such good energy and amazing food, especially the cornbread and Mac and Cheese...OMG!!! Can't wait to make more memories with Chef Pamela!

We've taken quite a few cooking classes over the years, and since covid, it's actually become our thing to do atleast once or twice a month. We've taken 4 cooking classes from Chef Pamela now, 2 in person and 2 online. She is incredible! Her food, her story, her knowledge, her personality, her warmth, all go unmatched. We've never laughed and cried so much in a class of any type really. I don't know how to describe this experience, it's not something that can really be put into words. Maybe cozy can upgrade and allow us to include pictures with our reviews. The pictures say it all. I'll leave you with this, the fried chicken is a game changer!

Probably one of the best meals of my life. My wife surprised me with Chef Pamela for my 40th birthday party. We had a small dinner party. Everyone still talks about Chef Pamela. Not only is the food fantastic but her personality is great! I also taken a few classes with her online her way of teaching is very easy to follow. If you don’t know how to cook like me lol ! You will be really surprised by yourself…! I cooked a meal for my wife from a few weeks back and my wife and I both enjoyed it immensely .

Best cooking class experience we've ever had! Chef Pamela is a phenomenal Storyteller of food and heritage, and will have you laughing until you cry. Her food is equally amazing, if not more. Our last class, we made homemade Chicken and Dumplings with these honey rolls that were to die for. What a rare treat to find in this city. We'll continue to take a class a few months, and do a chefs table when ever we can. She's worth every dime!
