What You’ll Do

Get ready to learn how to create a spread of spectacular sushi with Chef Drake.

In this hands-on class with Chef Drake, you will learn how to prepare three different types of sushi and more using fresh, high-quality ingredients, and time-honored Japanese culinary techniques and equipment.

After learning the ins and outs of proper sushi rice preparation and basic knife skills, Chef Drake will begin guiding you through the creation of a picture-perfect nigiri platter, maki hand roll with seasonal fish, and a classic sushi roll. Lastly, you will end on a sweet note with a fun take on carrot cake for dessert.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Absolutely enjoyed everything about this class. Hosted in Chef Drakes cozy apartment the food was amazing and so fun to make. Can’t wait to try it again in my home.

Chef Drake was all around amazing. The food was great and I definitely will be making at least 2 of these recipies again later. The whole experience of learning and participating in the meal prep was a great way to spend a Saturday afternoon. We will most certainly be back again.
