Colombia, home to the Inca empire, boasts food traditions that are rich and varied. Join Chef Santiago to learn how to make three classic Colombian dishes completely from scratch.
Begin the class with patacon con hogao, which features crispy fried plantains and a tomato and onion sauce. Next comes bandeja paisa, one of the most beloved dishes of Colombia. This massive collection of several meats, rice, beans and plantains topped with a fried egg is a rib-sticking meal in itself. For dessert, you'll make cuajada, a Spanish-influenced dish of sweetened cheese curds.
Guests are welcome to provide wine and beer to enjoy during the class.
