What You’ll Do

Prepare a lovely classic Italian dinner that will please your palate.

You are in store for an amazingly flavorsome journey to culinary Italy! Chef Emily is ready to be your guide as you prepare a traditional Italian meal.

Take in the incredible aromas of your beautiful Italian dishes cooking. You will learn a bit of culture and history as you prepare authentic Italian dishes, including saltimbocca made with risotto, spinach, and your choice of chicken or veal. Be absolutely delighted with the lusciousness of your dessert as you whip up a beautiful semifreddo — a decadent semi-frozen treat.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

She quickly dove into busy commercial kitchens and turned her passion into a profession. Chef Emily is now a lauded culinary instructor, private chef, and also launched a program at a local nonprofit to help families and children develop a healthy relationship with food.

What a great experience and great fun for a date night. Chef Emily was an amazing host and teacher for the New England Coastal Cuisine class. It was all hands on and you get to eat what you prepare! My boyfriend and I both loved it and will definitely do it again.

For Christmas, I gave a coupon to my mom and stepdad for Chef Emily's vegan cooking class and did they absolutely enjoy it!!! My mom and stepdad are slowly going vegan/incorporating vegan meals during their week and said that Chef Emily was so insightful, energetic, and fun to learn from. It's been over 2 weeks since they've taken the class and I'm still hearing stories and techniques they learned from the class. They said it was easy to follow along and people at all levels of cooking would enjoy!

Emily went above and beyond. She was more than amazing. She accommodated to my dietary needs on a whim and made the experience better than I could have ever imagined. I’d suggest her to everyone I know. Pittsburgh is lucky to have such a talented chef and kind soul in the area.

Had a wonderful evening cooking and eating great food with Chef Emily. She is so friendly and outgoing and that made our meal preparation even more fun. The meal that she chose for us to cook was delicious. We all are with gusto and will be preparing the same meal at home soon. We hope to cook with Chef Emily again soon.

We had a great time with Chef Emily making new england coastal cuisine. She was very knowledgeable and we learned many cooking tips and techniques, not to mention the meal was incredible! We will definitely be booking another class with Chef Emily in the future!

Chef Emily is a knowledgable fun and patient chef who clearly enjoys sharing her passion for cooking with others. I learned so much from her class and the food was incredible! I can't wait to try out some of these same dishes at home and impress my friends and family.

Emily's presentation impressed my guests even before they tasted the food. Everything looked and was amazing. One of my guests is gluten free so I had asked for some GF options. Everything on the menu seemed so appealing that I went with all GF options. I did not regret it. Emily helped me make my party a success. I highly recommend her services.

Emily was perfect for my (tiny) dinner party of 2. I needed somebody quick, and she was super game for everything I threw at her. 2 days' notice, 2 little kids underfoot, and everything turned out flawless. Wish I had taken a picture, but we were too busy enjoying the food and the lifestyle. I highly recommend Emily.
