Fantastic cooking class! I learned alot about Indian spices and how to use them.

Taruna's cooking class was a fantastic introduction to Indian cuisine! Not only did I learn delicious recipes, but I also got to meet her family and experience a bit of Indian culture firsthand. Taruna's patient instruction made the class a breeze, and the final meal was absolutely mouthwatering. I would highly recommend this class to anyone interested in expanding their culinary horizons.

Ann and I are 78 and were at first surprised when a couple in their 40's joined us with Chef Taruna and her daughter Tara. The evening couldn't have been better. The exchange of information and viewpoints was comfortable and flowing. Chef Taruna was able to open our eyes and ears with quips and tales of her growing up in India with a grandmother still much part of her family caste. Coincidentally, both of the male guests take cooking seriously. I couldn't resist showing my cohort the different method I used for preparing fresh garlic. The plate of appetizers we each prepared all included the boiled potato awaiting one of several sauces. Much of the preparation time was shared together around the stove. I was pleased to learn of the Indian grocery store in Austin which I was not aware despite living here 17 years. Sitting together sharing our family meal and company made the taste that much more memorable. Thanks Again, Charles Cresswell

It's a great experience!! I recommend this class with Chef Taruna 100%, she guide you through all the process, you have an active role all the time and then you get to enjoy your creations. Everything was delicious, she even printed the recipes for us to make sure that we wont have any problems to do them again. Great for couples or for one person, I definitely will take more classes with her.

This was an awesome experience! The chef hosts, Ash and Taruna were lovely and the other couple that were in the class with were also great! The evening was beyond expectations. The uncomplicated recipes were healthy and doable using spices to make the foods interesting, different and delicious. Great couple, they made the whole experience fun! Great hands-on cooking experience. We were able to add in how to make Roti, a traditional flatbread. Step by step instructions and explanation made the prep and cooking unintimidating. We even went home with recipes and the names of all the spices and traditional ingredients. My wife and I highly recommend this class. Try something new, you won't regret it!
