Chef Chrissy Marie

Hooray for Chrissy Marie! I was so happy to book a private lesson through Cozymeal to learn how to make a favorite treat: canelé. I learned how to prepare my copper molds, the batter, and gauge cook time. It turns out it's not as complicated as I feared, and with the technique I learned from Chrissy Marie I am prepared to keep tinkering with the process for the perfect canelé every time. Chef Chrissy was absolutely wonderful! She was knowledgable and accommodating and just a lot of fun to share the kitchen with for a few hours. Amongst our group of 4 was a wide range of experience and lack there of, and she gave everyone what they were looking for - great tips and techniques for the pros, excellent guidance and encouragement for the novices (me). The food (and leftovers) was delicious and we'll definitely repeat the recipes in the future. No complaints whatsoever. If we did it again, we'd request Caribbean cuisine since I get a sense that would be a bit of her specialty. All in all a fun informative experience that I would definitely recommend! Chef Chrissy Marie's cooking class was SO much fun. As someone who enjoys comfort food, I had an absolute blast re-learning some of my favorite dishes and incorporating Chef Chrissy Marie's personal touches to them. She has such a glow and warm personality, and is also extremely patient! I look forward to taking my next Cozymeal class with Chef Chrissy Marie!
