What You’ll Do

Explore the flavors of Southeastern France with this classic French menu.

In this hands-on cooking class, Chef Burcu will guide you through the steps of making fine French fare from the Southeastern region of France.

Begin class by pan frying sole fillets until crispy, then, prepare green tagliatelle pasta from scratch, which will include a lesson on how to color pasta using the chlorophyll from green leafy vegetables. Once your tagliatelle is cooked, garnish the pan-fried sole with tomatoes, lemon segments and capers warmed in butter. For dessert, whip up a light and creamy dish drizzled in framboise sauce.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Educated in the arts of French cuisine, chocolate confection and cake design, she has held positions as a food server, chef and executive chef in restaurants and hotels across Turkey and Canada — she has even owned a pasta-making company. Chef Burcu specializes in French and Mediterranean cuisine and is excited to share her knowledge and skills as a culinary instructor.

We recently had the pleasure of attending a team-building cooking class, and it was an amazing experience! Chef Burcu was outstanding – not only incredibly skilled but also exceptionally patient and personable. she made the entire session fun and engaging, ensuring everyone felt involved and capable, regardless of their cooking experience. The food we prepared under the chef's guidance was phenomenal. Every dish turned out delicious, and we left with both full stomachs and new culinary skills. The chef’s ability to balance teaching, coaching, and fostering a relaxed atmosphere was truly impressive. It was the perfect blend of teamwork, learning, and enjoyment.
